Fawley Watson Booth operates as a traditional partnership with the owners of the business actively involved in all aspects of the advice being offered to clients.

 Michael W Fawley BSc (Hons) MRICS Partner
Michael Fawley is the founding partner of Fawley Watson Booth. His principal involvement in the market is advising shopping centre owning clients on leasing policy, asset management and development.

Michael is currently involved on behalf of the owners of The Mall, Barnsley, Eldon Gardens, Newcastle upon Tyne, Clarence Dock, Leeds, Victoria Quarter, Leeds, Washington Square, Workington and The Bridges Shopping Centre, Sunderland.
More recently Michael has been involved in advising S Harrison Developments in relation to the second phase of the redevelopment of Lichfield City Centre where 250,000 sq ft of new retail accommodation is planned to open in 2010.
In addition to advising on larger single property projects, Michael is a panel member to Yorkshire Forward’s Renaissance Market Towns Initiative which is the Yorkshire and Humber Development Agencies programme to promote sustained economic growth in rural areas.
 David E Watson BSc FRICS Partner
David Watson joined the company as a partner in 1995 and specialises in offering advice on all aspects of retail property.

David has been instrumental in recent years in overseeing the expansion of Card Factory having been involved expanding the Group to over 400 units.
David has acted on behalf of the owners of The Frenchgate Centre, Doncaster since 1992 and is currently involved in advising Scarborough Development Group and Teesland Plc on the Frenghgate Interchange which is one of the largest retail development projects currently under construction in the North of England.
 Thomas C Booth BSc (Hons) MRICS Consultant
Tom is one of the best known names in the property investment market in the North of England specialising in brokerage and development funding.
Tom has been involved with the Company since its inception in April 1995 having previously worked with Michael Fawley in establishing an office for Edward Erdman in Leeds between 1989 and 1992.
Tom’s career began in London in 1978 with Messrs Knight Frank & Rutley’s valuation department where he was involved in the valuation of a Land Securities Portfolio. Subsequently Tom has specialised in the property investment market advising institutional investors, private clients and property developers.
 Julie Fawley MRICS Associate
Julie is the Practice’s senior leasing surveyor and is the lead contact with several clients including Threadneedle Property Fund Managers, The Mall Corporation, Grattan Plc, Fitzwilliam Estate and British Health Enterprise. She has specialised in retail agency matters since joining Chesterton in 1997 where she was a senior retail agent in the Leeds office dealing with major disposal programmes for Centrica and Halifax Plc together with being the leading agent on The Light project in Leeds City Centre.
Julie acts in a letting role on The Victoria Quarter, Leeds, The Foundry, Scunthorpe, The Mall, Barnsley, Victoria Centre, Harrogate and Washington Square, Workington and is developing retail leasing strategies for British Health Enterprises in relation to the development of retail offers within major hospitals such as St James’s, Leeds, Heartlands in Birmingham and within neighbourhood Health Centres.
 Richard Blamires BSc (Hons) MRICS Associate - Professional
Richard joined the professional services department at Fawley Watson Booth in 2007 to advise new and existing c
lients on all landlord and tenant matters.
Formerly with Donaldsons/DTZ, Richard gained experience in retail rent reviews and lease renewals for both tenants and landlords,
acting for both private individuals and corporate clients. Earlier in his career, he worked in central Government advising on
valuation and landlord & tenant matters.
Currently responsible for professional work for, amongst others, Land Securities at The Bridges in Sunderland and
for Card Factory nationwide, Richard undertakes a broad range of work for a wide range of clients.
 Christopher J Young BSc (Hons) MRICS
After working for a number of years at Norwich Union Investments and then HSBC Investments, Chris completed a property
related degree and worked part-time during his degree course for a Sheffield based property agency.
Chris graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with Honours in Property Development. After gaining experience in the
professional services department of Lambert Smith Hampton, Chris joined Fawley Watson Booth concentrating on Landlord &
Tenant work, in particular rent reviews and lease renewals, and has also been actively involved in all areas of commercial agency.
 Jonathan M Peasgood BSc (Hons) Dip Prop Invest FRICS
Jonathan has been active in the investment market for many years and is a well known agent in the north of England. Jonathan joined
the practice in 2009, having previously spent 15 years at GVA Grimley Ltd, latterly as the head of capital markets in their Leeds office.
Specialising in all aspects of investment and funding advisory work, Jonathan has considerable experience in all commercial market
sectors as well as projects in alternative investment areas including healthcare and student accommodation.
Jonathan’s clients include Threadneedle, Prudential, Towngate Plc, Invista, Igloo Regeneration Fund, Yorkshire Forward, Eddie Stobart ltd,
Bradford University and Primary Health Properties.
His deals have included the acquisition of retail warehousing at Ings Road, Wakefield, the sale of University Halls of Residence at
Bradford University, acquisition of a mixed use scheme at The Round Foundry in Leeds and the sale and leaseback of distribution
warehouses for Eddie Stobart ltd.
